Episode 25 Connection with Stephanie Forck
Connection is in our DNA. It’s the feeling we have when we think about another person, and as human beings, we always want to feel connected. But often, we look outside of ourselves for that feeling, instead of going within. We have the power to purposefully create a connection with ourselves and others, and today’s guest is here to tell us how.
Episode 24 Why You Need a Life Coach to Lose Weight with Wendy Crabbe
Have you ever found yourself eating well during the day but when the evening arrives, a flip switches and you eat whatever you can find in the pantry?! Food is everywhere in our society; we’re constantly surrounded by it. So how do we manage our relationship with it? That’s where a Life Coach comes in! Today’s guest, certified Life and Weight Loss Coach Wendy Crabbe, joins me to talk about why despite food being such a prominent part of our lives, weight loss is only 20% about the food and 80% about our thoughts and feelings towards it.
Episode 23 Coaching Women Over 50: What it’s Really Like During and After a Coaching Session with Sally Hanson
There’s a lot of misunderstanding about life coaching, and many people feel apprehensive to work with a coach. But coaches aren’t here to judge you, their purpose is to take you from where you are now to wherever you want to be. Fellow certified Life Coach Sally Hanson joins me on the podcast this week to help demystify coaching and explain the benefits of hiring a coach.

Episode 20 Living with Complexity with Margot Hanley
I have a super interesting guest joining me this week! This week we’ll be talking about learning to live and be comfortable with complexity in our lives, and what better educator than Margot Hanley. Following a career as a respiratory therapist, Margot used her experience of working with families in crisis to pivot her career and become a certified Life Coach.
Episode 19 Life After Hard Choices with Amanda Kingsley
Hello, my virtuosas! What an important discussion I have for you today! I’m joined by fellow certified life coach and post-abortive counselor Amanda Kingsley. After making the difficult decision to undergo an abortion, Amanda was left feeling alone, ashamed, and unsupported in her grief. She now uses her experience to coach and support other women who have also made this difficult choice.
Episode 18 Create a Life Better than the Buzz with Jennifer Cruikshank
I have a fascinating episode for you this week! We’re going to be discussing alcohol or as you might know it – ‘The Buzz’! So many people revert to drinking alcohol to cope with day-to-day life, difficult situations, or a range of other circumstances. Now, we’re not talking about full-blown addiction here – as that would require an individual to seek professional help.

Episode #14 Sustainability Bonus Episode Two: Determined Fierceness
We’ve just finished our four-part Sustainability series, but I felt that there was a need for an additional two bonus episodes to fully complete the series. In today’s bonus episode, we’re discussing gratitude – the quality of being thankful, and the readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness. It’s the attitude of being thankful and content with the result you’ve created from sustaining through difficult times.
Episode #13 Sustainability Bonus Episode One: Gratitude
We’ve just finished our four-part Sustainability series, but I felt that there was a need for an additional two bonus episodes to fully complete the series. In today’s bonus episode, we’re discussing gratitude – the quality of being thankful, and the readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness. It’s the attitude of being thankful and content with the result you’ve created from sustaining through difficult times.
Episode #12 Sustainability Part Four: Legacy
For episode four of our Sustainability series, we’re discussing legacy. Legacy is often known as something you might bequest in a will, such as property. But in general, it is something handed down from your ancestors and something that you will pass down to your predecessors. If we consider the concept of us all being interconnected – that all human beings are one, we can appreciate that everything we do or don’t do is our legacy.
Episode #11 Sustainability Part Three: Diligence
We’re back this week with the Sustainability series and we’re focusing on diligence. Diligence isn’t flashy or glamorous, it is about consistently showing up and taking action to create results. It is closely related to resilience and tenacity as it involves persevering even when quitting seems more appealing. If you’ve seen Finding Nemo, you’ll recognize Dory’s iconic song “Just Keep Swimming.”
Episode #10 Sustainability Part Two: Tenacity
Rocky Balboa said, “It’s not about how hard you hit; it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.” These words resonate with our current circumstances and remind us that winning is not just about strength, but also about the ability to endure and persist. People with tenacity choose to stick with the problem instead of folding or giving up.
Episode #9 Sustainability Part One: Resilience
With the US and the world at large going through a crisis, this is the perfect time to introduce a four-part series on the subject of sustainability and making it through tough times. I don’t want to only focus on the effects of Coronavirus in this episode, but I know that for a lot of people, that’s where your focus is at the moment and it’s bringing up a lot of worry about the future.
Episode #8 Write Your Story
We are finishing up the transformation tool this week, and this last step in the process is called write your story. As you work on all the prior steps to getting where you want to be and becoming your virtuosa self, it’s important to think about how your new state of being will look long-term. There’s no point in making a change without it being sustainable, and so that’s what I’m diving into today.
